ISSUE III: INTROSPECTION

February 10, 2021

Introspection is defined as “the examination or observation of one’s one mental and emotional processes.” With the COVID-19 pandemic still escalating in most countries, individuals are turning to technology to stay connected with the rest of the world. Certain countries are still initiating socially restrictive procedures, such as quarantine and lockdown, which can cause individuals to feel lonely and isolated. Consequently, the usage of social media has significantly increased while more people become consumed with unrealistic standards as presented by these various platforms. We call all of our readers to evaluate the state of their mental health, or take some time for introspection, and ensure that it remains a priority during these trying times.
