IS THE MAGAZINE DIGITAL OR PRINTED?
Our magazine is completely digital, and all released issues will be accessible on the Publications tab of this website.
WHY IS THE MAGAZINE NOT BEING PRINTED?
After some deliberation, the team at Elysian Archives has chosen not to print our magazine issues in an effort to conserve paper and reduce our ecological footprint on the environment. We hope that by doing so, we will inspire others to follow our example and try to be more conscious about preserving the environment in their daily lives.
DO THE ISSUES HAVE A THEME?
Yes. Each issue will be focused on a different theme that we will introduce in Instagram posts. If you need any clarification about a particular theme, do not hesitate to contact us.
WHY SHOULD I SUBMIT?
This is a great opportunity for one of your creations to be seen by others and featured in a magazine. Moreover, volumes will be focused on social issues, so we hope to raise awareness about these problems and bring them to light.
WHEN WILL THE MAGAZINE ISSUES BE RELEASED?
Each issue has a unique release date. Again, our Instagram is the best place to watch for updates.
WHAT IS A FEATURE ARTIST?
For each issue, we will choose a special artist who will have multiple works featured throughout the magazine, most notably, the front cover and back cover. They will also have a post dedicated to them on our page, as well as their Instagram handle included on the front cover next to their work. If you want to be considered for a feature artist, you should:
Submit around 6-7 photographs or art pieces
Make sure they are taken/scanned in good quality
Note in your submission email that you would like to be considered
